Video thumbnail

A music video critiquing those who are comfortable with the status quo, people unwilling to challenge outdated social norms rooted in patriarchy and power dynamics.

Part of Maturity is a Scam, an album by Vishay Khxl.

Concept

The video takes inspiration from the viral morning routine aesthetic popularized by influencers like Ashton Hall, repurposing the format as a critique of the idealized male image it projects. What looks like a polished self-improvement ritual becomes a commentary on the very norms it glorifies.

Production

Filmed across three recording sessions over three weeks in Copenhagen, Denmark, with a supporting cast of extras. Direction, cinematography, and editing by me.

The goal was to replicate the aesthetic closely enough that the critique speaks for itself. The video reached around 7K views on YouTube.
